Contract Type: Full Time / Perm

Office Based With External Appointments
Are you an experienced Lettings Manager who feels ready for a move where you can have more influence, lead from the front and build a successful lettings operation?
This is a great opportunity to join an established property business in Coventry where your experience will be valued and you’ll have the autonomy to drive performance, develop your team and make a genuine impact on the branch.
Rather than simply keeping the department ticking over, you’ll be given the opportunity to improve results, win business and create a lettings operation you can be proud of.
Why this opportunity is worth exploring
For someone already working within lettings, the appeal here is the chance to step into a management role where you can use your commercial experience rather than being heavily restricted by process.
You’ll be trusted to lead your team, grow the portfolio and build strong relationships with landlords across Coventry, while still remaining close enough to the market to spot opportunities and turn them into business.
If you enjoy the combination of people management, business generation and driving branch performance, this could be a very good next move.
The role
As Lettings Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the performance of the lettings department, helping the team increase instructions, convert opportunities and deliver a strong service to landlords and tenants.
You’ll set the standard within the office and create the energy, accountability and focus needed to achieve consistent results.
Key responsibilities
- Leading, motivating and developing the lettings team
- Growing the managed and let-only portfolio
- Winning new landlord instructions and converting market appraisals
- Building long-term relationships with landlords
- Driving revenue and improving overall department performance
- Monitoring activity, pipeline and individual results
- Identifying opportunities to increase market share across Coventry
- Ensuring customers receive a professional and commercially focused service
What will help you succeed
You’ll already have a strong background within residential lettings and understand what it takes to generate new business as well as manage a successful team.
Previous management or supervisory experience would be particularly useful, although an ambitious Assistant Lettings Manager ready to take the next step could also be worth considering.
You’ll be commercially minded, confident dealing with landlords and comfortable taking ownership of results.
What’s on offer
Salary: £35,000
More importantly, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a lettings department, influence its performance and build your reputation as a successful property professional in the Coventry market.
If your current role has started to feel limited and you’re ready for somewhere you can have greater impact, this opportunity is well worth a conversation.
