If you already work in property management and feel ready for a role where you can develop, take on more responsibility and be part of a genuinely supportive team, this could be well worth exploring.
This Nottingham-based business is looking for a Student Property Manager to join its team and play an important role in delivering a great experience for both landlords and tenants.
Just as importantly, this is an opportunity to join an employer that wants people to progress rather than simply remain in the same role year after year.
Why this company is different
The culture here is supportive, approachable and focused on helping people succeed.
You will be joining a team where you can build your knowledge, develop your confidence and create a genuine path for progression as you prove yourself. If your current role feels limited in terms of development or future prospects, this offers the chance to move somewhere with more room to grow.
The role
You will take responsibility for a portfolio of student properties across Nottingham, ensuring tenancies run smoothly and landlords and tenants receive a responsive, professional service.
The aim is not simply to deal with issues as they arise. You will build strong relationships, stay ahead of potential problems and help ensure the portfolio is managed efficiently throughout the student lettings cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of student properties and maintaining strong landlord relationships
- Acting as a key point of contact for tenants throughout their tenancy
- Coordinating maintenance and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
- Managing move-ins, move-outs and tenancy-related administration
- Carrying out property inspections and following up where required
- Keeping landlords informed and providing a high standard of ongoing service
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure properties and tenancies are well managed
- Identifying ways to improve the customer experience and overall performance of the portfolio
What will help you succeed
Previous experience within residential or student property management would be ideal.
You will be organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and confident dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors. Most importantly, you will take ownership of your portfolio and care about delivering a good service.
Knowledge of the Nottingham student property market would be useful but is not essential.
What is on offer
- £25,000–£28,000 salary depending on experience
- Clear opportunities for career progression
- A supportive team and management structure
- The chance to develop your property management experience within the student sector
- A role where you can take genuine ownership of your portfolio
- Long-term development for someone who wants to build a career in property
If you are currently working in property management and wondering what the next step looks like, this could be the move that gives you more responsibility, more development and a clearer future.
