This is an excellent opportunity to join an established independent property business in Stoke-on-Trent, with a strong local presence and a loyal client base across the residential lettings market. As Lettings Negotiator, you will play an important role in driving the lettings department forward. You will be the first point of contact for many applicants and landlords, helping to create a smooth, professional, and positive experience from enquiry through to move-in.
What you’ll be doing
- Registering and qualifying applicants looking for rental properties
- Arranging and carrying out property viewings
- Following up with applicants and negotiating offers
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors where required
- Supporting the progression of lets from application to move-in
- Keeping property records and applicant details up to date
- Promoting available properties across online portals and internal systems
- Building long-term relationships with landlords and tenants
- Working closely with the wider lettings team to help achieve branch targets
What we’re looking for
You’ll suit this role if you are organised, personable, and motivated by delivering great customer service. Previous experience in residential lettings would be highly beneficial, although strong property, sales, or customer-facing experience will also be considered.
You should be comfortable speaking with landlords and tenants, able to manage a busy workload, and confident working in a fast-moving lettings environment. A professional approach, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in property will be key.
