What you’ll be doing
You will take ownership of mortgage and protection enquiries, turning introductions into long-term client relationships and quality outcomes. Working closely with the wider property team, you will become a trusted expert for buyers who need straightforward guidance and a smooth experience.
Daily tasks
- Speaking with clients to understand their mortgage and protection needs
- Advising on suitable mortgage and insurance solutions in line with compliance standards
- Managing cases from initial enquiry through to application and completion
- Building strong relationships with buyers, vendors, negotiators and branch teams
- Generating protection conversations as part of a full advice service
- Keeping clients updated and making the process feel clear and well managed
- Working closely with lenders, solicitors and other third parties to progress cases
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is fully compliant
- Converting warm introductions into completed business
- Contributing to a positive, high-performance culture focused on service and results
What they’re looking for
- Experience as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor, Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Consultant
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage and protection market
- Confident communication skills and a consultative approach
- Ability to build rapport quickly and earn client trust
- Organised case management skills with strong attention to detail
- A commercial mindset and a genuine desire to grow income
- Comfortable working in a busy, target-driven property environment
- CeMAP qualified or equivalent
