Keep the portfolio running properly. Fix problems before they grow.
This role sits at the centre of a busy lettings operation.
You will take ownership of maintenance across a managed portfolio, making sure issues are handled quickly, correctly, and with clear communication throughout.
You are not just logging jobs. You are controlling outcomes.
The role
You will manage the full lifecycle of maintenance, from first report through to completion.
That means making decisions, coordinating contractors, and keeping landlords and tenants fully informed.
Your focus will include:
- Managing incoming maintenance issues from tenants and landlords
- Diagnosing problems and deciding the right course of action
- Coordinating contractors and scheduling works
- Monitoring progress and ensuring jobs are completed properly
- Keeping landlords updated and gaining approval where needed
- Managing quotes and controlling costs
- Maintaining accurate records across the portfolio
- Supporting compliance and overall property condition
What you will deliver
- A well-managed, responsive maintenance function
- Issues resolved quickly and with minimal escalation
- Landlords who feel informed and in control
- Tenants who receive a clear and professional service
- Properties maintained to a consistent standard
What you need
- Experience in lettings, property management, or maintenance coordination
- Strong organisation and ability to prioritise workload
- Confident communication with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Practical mindset with the ability to solve problems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple issues at once without losing control
- Good attention to detail and follow-through
Why this role works
You will have real ownership of your area.
This is not a support role where things get passed around. You will be the person who makes sure problems are handled properly and seen through to completion.
If you like structure, control, and keeping things moving, this is a strong fit.
