Are you a confident Property Manager who enjoys building strong landlord and tenant relationships, keeping tenancies running smoothly, and being part of a team that genuinely supports one another?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established independent agency based in Northampton Town Centre.

The business has a strong local presence, a stable and professional team, and a senior leadership team that remains hands-on, approachable, and invested in helping people succeed.

You will take ownership of a managed portfolio, ensuring landlords receive a reliable, proactive service and tenants feel well looked after throughout their tenancy.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being trusted to manage their day with professionalism and care.

What you will be doing

  • Managing a portfolio of residential properties across the Northampton area
  • Acting as the main point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and property visits
  • Handling tenancy queries with confidence and professionalism
  • Ensuring properties remain compliant with current lettings legislation
  • Liaising with contractors to arrange works and follow up on progress
  • Supporting landlords with advice, updates, and practical solutions
  • Managing check-outs, deposit discussions, and end-of-tenancy processes
  • Keeping accurate records and maintaining clear communication across the team
  • Working closely with senior colleagues to deliver a high standard of service

What we are looking for

You will already have experience within residential property management or a closely related lettings role. You should be organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable dealing with landlords, tenants, and contractors on a daily basis.

You will be joining a business where professionalism matters, but where people are also supported properly.

The leadership team is visible, involved, and keen to create an environment where good property professionals can settle, contribute, and build a long-term career.

Why this role stands out

This is not a high-churn, faceless corporate environment. It is a well-established independent agency with a steady team, strong local knowledge, and a practical approach to property management. You will have the support around you to do the job properly, while still being trusted to take responsibility for your portfolio.
