This is an opportunity for an organised and proactive property professional to take ownership of maintenance coordination across a busy lettings portfolio in Northampton.


Working with a well-established independent estate and lettings agency, you’ll become the central point of contact for property maintenance, ensuring landlords, tenants, and contractors all stay aligned. Known locally for delivering a personal and responsive service, the business has built a strong presence across the local property market and continues to grow its managed portfolio.


This role offers the chance to take full control of the maintenance function, streamline processes, and play a key role in protecting property standards while delivering an excellent experience for landlords and tenants alike.



What you’ll be doing


As Lettings Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally.


Daily responsibilities include:


  • Managing incoming maintenance enquiries from tenants and landlords
  • Diagnosing reported issues and coordinating appropriate contractor response
  • Scheduling repairs, safety works, and property maintenance visits
  • Liaising with approved contractors to ensure timely completion of works
  • Keeping landlords informed and providing clear updates on maintenance progress
  • Monitoring job completion and ensuring work meets expected standards
  • Handling quotes and obtaining landlord approval for required works
  • Keeping maintenance records and property notes fully up to date
  • Supporting the wider lettings team in maintaining property compliance and condition



What success looks like


You’ll become the trusted point of contact for maintenance across the portfolio. Your organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills will keep properties well maintained, tenants supported, and landlords confident their investments are being looked after.
