A brilliant opportunity for a motivated lettings professional who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning enquiries into successful lets.
This Birmingham-based role would suit someone who thrives in a busy branch environment and enjoys being at the heart of a fast-moving local market.
You will play a key part in winning new business, guiding applicants through the rental process, and helping landlords achieve the best outcome for their properties. It is a role for someone who is commercially minded, confident with people, and genuinely enjoys delivering a high standard of service.
You will be joining an established property business with a strong presence in the residential lettings sector. The company has built a solid local reputation through consistent service, a personable approach, and a team culture that values energy, accountability, and results. With a supportive structure in place and a healthy pipeline of stock and applicants, this is an excellent environment for a negotiator who wants to develop their career and maximise earnings.
In this role, you will be responsible for keeping stock moving, generating viewings, converting enquiries, and supporting landlords and tenants throughout the lettings journey. You will be trusted to build rapport quickly, manage expectations well, and keep deals progressing smoothly from first enquiry through to agreed let.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Registering applicants and matching them to suitable rental properties
- Booking and conducting viewings
- Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and applicants
- Negotiating offers and securing lets
- Progressing agreed deals through to completion
- Keeping property details accurate and up to date across systems and portals
- Generating new business opportunities through proactive communication and follow-up
- Supporting the branch in delivering strong service levels and commercial results
What will make you a strong fit:
- Experience within residential lettings or estate agency
- A confident and professional approach with clients
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A target-driven mindset with a genuine desire to achieve
- Good local knowledge of Birmingham or the surrounding market would be an advantage
- A full UK driving licence is likely to be helpful for the role
Why this role stands out:
This is more than a standard negotiator position. It is a chance to join a well-established agency where your efforts will be recognised, your earning potential is clear, and your contribution will directly influence the success of the branch. For someone who enjoys pace, people, and property, it offers the right mix of stability, opportunity, and reward.
