What you will be doing
You will play a key role in keeping stock moving, generating buyer interest and delivering a smooth customer journey from first enquiry through to agreed sale. You will be trusted to build rapport quickly, match buyers to the right properties and keep momentum in every deal.
Daily tasks
- Registering applicants and understanding exactly what they are looking for
- Booking and conducting viewings with confidence and enthusiasm
- Negotiating offers between buyers and vendors to achieve the best result
- Keeping vendors updated with honest feedback and market insight
- Generating new business opportunities through applicant and prospecting activity
- Supporting valuations and helping win new instructions
- Progressing sales and maintaining regular communication with all parties
- Ensuring property details are accurate, appealing and well presented
- Building strong relationships with buyers, vendors, solicitors and mortgage contacts
- Working closely with the wider branch team to hit targets and maintain high service levels
What will help you succeed
You will already understand the pace and expectations of residential agency and know how important it is to combine strong sales ability with excellent customer care. You will be someone who enjoys being on the phone, out on viewings and involved in the full sales process.
You are likely to bring:
- Experience in estate agency, ideally within residential sales
- A track record of converting enquiries into viewings, offers and agreed sales
- Strong communication skills and a professional, personable approach
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to spot and create opportunities
- Good local knowledge of the Birmingham market or the ability to pick it up quickly
- A full UK driving licence
