This is a brilliant opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator who enjoys being out in the market, speaking with landlords and tenants, and turning enquiries into successful lets. You will be joining an established independent property business with a strong local presence, a supportive team culture and a reputation for delivering a polished, personal service across the residential sector.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced branch environment and wants to be part of a team that values energy, professionalism and a proactive approach. You will play a key part in driving new business, growing landlord relationships and helping applicants find the right home, all while building your own presence in the Birmingham market.



What you will be doing


You will be at the heart of the lettings operation, helping to keep stock moving and ensuring every customer interaction leaves the right impression.

Daily tasks include:

  • Registering applicants and matching them to suitable properties
  • Booking and conducting viewings
  • Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing landlords
  • Generating new lettings business through proactive follow-up and local market activity
  • Keeping vendors, landlords, tenants and applicants fully updated throughout the process
  • Managing enquiries and converting interest into viewings and offers
  • Supporting the progression of agreed lets through to completion
  • Maintaining accurate property details and CRM records
  • Working closely with the wider branch team to hit lettings targets and service standards



What success looks like


In this role, you will help grow the branch’s lettings presence in Birmingham by winning instructions, delivering excellent applicant care and creating a smooth, professional experience from first enquiry through to move-in. Your ability to stay organised, communicate well and keep momentum in every deal will be highly valued.



What they are looking for


  • Previous experience in residential lettings or estate agency
  • A confident communicator who is comfortable negotiating and building rapport
  • Someone commercially minded who enjoys winning business
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
  • Good local knowledge of the Birmingham property market would be an advantage
  • Organised, self-motivated and able to work well in a target-driven environment
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
