Ready to build momentum in your lettings career with a business that genuinely values drive, service, and local market knowledge?

This is an excellent opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator to join a well-established independent property business with a strong presence in the local market. Operating across residential property, the company has built a trusted name through consistent growth, a hands-on approach, and a team culture that rewards energy, professionalism, and results. You will be joining a supportive office where your contribution will be visible, valued, and backed by experienced leadership.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the pace of lettings, thrives on building relationships, and wants to play a key part in helping landlords and tenants move forward with confidence. You will be at the centre of the customer journey, from first enquiry through to successful move-in, delivering a smooth and professional experience at every stage.

What you will be doing

You will take ownership of applicant enquiries, match tenants to suitable properties, and keep deals progressing with confidence and attention to detail. Your success will come from your ability to build rapport quickly, understand client needs, and stay one step ahead in a busy branch environment.

Daily tasks

  • Registering new applicants and understanding their property requirements
  • Booking and conducting lettings viewings
  • Negotiating offers between landlords and prospective tenants
  • Keeping applicants, landlords, and colleagues updated throughout the process
  • Generating interest in available stock and helping reduce void periods
  • Supporting the progression of lets from enquiry through to agreed tenancy
  • Building strong relationships with landlords and delivering a high level of service
  • Staying close to the local Nottingham market and spotting opportunities
  • Assisting with property marketing and ensuring listings are accurate and appealing
  • Working closely with the wider branch team to achieve shared targets

What the business is looking for

They are looking for someone who brings confidence, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in property. You will be comfortable speaking with a wide range of people, motivated by results, and able to manage a busy workload without losing sight of customer service.

You will likely already have experience in lettings, estate agency, or a similarly fast-moving sales environment. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a polished, professional approach will all help you stand out.

Why this role stands out

This is more than a standard negotiator role. It is a chance to join a growing agency where you can make a real impact, strengthen your market knowledge, and develop your career in a business that values ambition and consistency. You will be part of a team that understands the importance of service, reputation, and building lasting client relationships in a competitive market.
