This role is with a well-established independent property business with a strong presence in the local market, a supportive team culture, and a reputation for doing things properly. You will be joining a busy, people-focused environment where your ability to keep tenancies running smoothly, build trust with landlords and tenants, and stay on top of the detail will be highly valued.

This is an excellent move for someone who enjoys variety, likes being in the thick of a fast-paced lettings operation, and wants to be part of a company that combines experience with a modern, service-led approach. You will play a key part in protecting client relationships, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring every property under management is looked after to a high standard.

The role

As Property Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of residential properties and become the go-to person for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle. You will keep communication clear, manage maintenance matters efficiently, and ensure compliance and administration are handled accurately and professionally.

This is a role for someone who can balance customer service with organisation, stay calm under pressure, and take ownership of their portfolio.

  • Acting as a main point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Handling maintenance issues from first report through to resolution
  • Coordinating repairs and monitoring contractor performance
  • Carrying out property visits and following up on any required actions
  • Managing tenancy progression, renewals, amendments, and end-of-tenancy processes
  • Dealing with deposit matters and supporting smooth move-outs
  • Keeping property records, compliance documents, and internal systems fully up to date
  • Responding to queries promptly and professionally to maintain strong client relationships
  • Working closely with the wider lettings team to keep service levels high across the branch

What you will bring

  • Previous experience in residential property management or lettings
  • A confident and professional approach when dealing with landlords and tenants
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to solve problems and make decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of the lettings process and day-to-day property management responsibilities
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial

Why this role stands out

You will be joining a respected property business that has built a solid position in the market through consistent service and strong local knowledge.
