This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lettings Manager to join a highly regarded independent agency in Leicester, known for its strong presence across both residential and student lettings.
Reporting directly to the Directors, you’ll take on a pivotal leadership role within a fast-paced and varied portfolio.
Initially offered as a maternity cover, this position is very much viewed as a long-term opportunity, with ongoing prospects within the business beyond the initial period.

What you’ll be doing
- Managing the day-to-day running of a busy residential and student lettings department
- Leading, supporting, and motivating the team to maintain high performance levels
- Overseeing new instructions, marketing, and deal progression across both sectors
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, including portfolio clients
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient service for tenants from enquiry through to move-in
- Working closely with the Directors on performance, processes, and business improvement
- Handling negotiations, resolving issues, and maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Ensuring all lettings activity is compliant with current legislation and best practice
What success looks like
You will quickly become a central figure within the lettings team, providing structure, consistency, and leadership across both residential and student markets. Your ability to balance service, compliance, and commercial awareness will ensure the department continues to perform while maintaining its strong local reputation.

- A proactive mindset and the confidence to work closely with Directors
- A full UK driving licence
