Our client is an award-winning, leading lettings agent in Melton Mowbray.

With a portfolio of over 900 properties, they take pride in their exceptional customer service, local expertise, and in-depth

knowledge of lettings.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Lettings Consultant to join their busy and successful Residential Lettings team.

The Role:

You will manage the lettings process from start to finish, matching applicants to properties, carrying out viewings, negotiating lets, progressing references, and liaising with landlords and tenants to ensure a smooth tenancy start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding and a basic knowledge of the letting and referencing processes

• Strong negotiation skills

• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a target driven environment

• Ability to multitask given the nature of the sector

• Attention to detail: critical for compliance checks

• Problem solving, thinking on your feet, is critical to resolve issues, delays or tenant/client concerns

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year lettings experience

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Organised, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)

• Full UK driving licence

Remuneration Details:

• Full time – Monday to Friday 9.00am–5.15pm

• Salary: £25,000 per annum with a commission-based structure for each property let

• Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, on-site parking
