A long-established independent property consultancy in the East Midlands is expanding its residential property management team in Melton Mowbray. Known for delivering trusted advice across residential, commercial, rural and land matters, they combine traditional values with modern service delivery — and they’re now looking for a dedicated Property Manager to help support their busy maintenance and compliance portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll take ownership of a varied residential portfolio, ensuring that tenants, landlords and contractors are well looked after. With a blend of administrative organisation and on-the-ground coordination, you'll be the go-to person for keeping everything running smoothly.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Coordinating maintenance and repairs, liaising with tenants and trusted contractors

• Handling quotes, invoices, and cost approvals efficiently

• Keeping property records up to date via the property management system

• Overseeing compliance deadlines, safety checks, and legal requirements

• Organising utility connections and ensuring essential services are arranged on time

• Conducting weekly midterm property inspections

• Supporting with inventories and checkouts when needed

What you’ll bring:

You’ll be someone who thrives on keeping things in order, spotting issues before they escalate and ensuring no detail slips through the net. A natural communicator, you’ll balance tenant needs with landlord priorities, while staying up to date with legal compliance.

We're looking for:

• Prior experience in residential property management or lettings

• Confidence managing contractors and negotiating quotes

• Great customer service and communication skills

• Strong organisation and multitasking ability

• IT literacy and accurate record-keeping

• £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
