A well-established and highly professional independent estate agency in Leicester is looking to appoint an experienced lettings professional ready to step into a management-focused role with structure and support.


This opportunity suits someone with three or more years’ lettings experience who enjoys responsibility, works well with autonomy, and is keen to progress into a formal management position without being left exposed.



The Role


This is a senior operational role with a clear development pathway into Lettings Management. You will remain hands-on while gradually taking on leadership responsibility, supported by senior management and established systems.



Key Duties


  • Manage the lettings process from instruction through to move-in


  • Act as a senior point of contact for landlords and tenants


  • Support and guide negotiators and administrators day to day


  • Carry out market appraisals and secure new instructions


  • Oversee compliance across the portfolio


  • Handle negotiations, renewals, and complex cases


  • Maintain service standards and operational consistency


  • Assist with training, coaching, and performance support


  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency



About You


  • Minimum three years’ experience in residential lettings


  • Strong understanding of lettings legislation and process


  • Confident communicator with a professional manner


  • Organised, reliable, and commercially aware


  • Interested in leadership and longer-term progression


  • Local knowledge of the Leicester market is an advantage


  • Previous management experience is not essential. Structured training and mentoring will be provided.
