This is your chance to lead from the front in a well-established independent agency with deep roots in the Leicester market. If you're ready to take full ownership of the lettings function and play a key role in a high-performing, close-knit team, this opportunity is not to be missed.

The Opportunity

You'll be stepping into a senior role where your experience will shape the direction of the lettings department. Working alongside a dedicated Maintenance Manager and reporting directly to the business owner, you'll manage everything from valuations to tenancy handovers, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and service-driven lettings experience.

This is a hands-on, varied role with real autonomy and the chance to make a visible impact on a growing independent business. You'll also mentor a developing Lettings Negotiator and benefit from returning part-time team support in the new year.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Conducting market appraisals and landlord consultations

  • Marketing properties across key platforms

  • Handling tenant enquiries and arranging viewings

  • Managing referencing and tenancy progression

  • Overseeing check-ins, inventories, and compliance tasks

  • Keeping landlords updated throughout the process

  • Maintaining excellent relationships with new and long-standing clients

You’ll lead all front-of-house lettings operations, ensuring the business continues to uphold its reputation for personable, professional service.

What We're Looking For

You're someone who thrives on responsibility, builds rapport with ease, and knows how to keep a lettings department running like clockwork. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in residential lettings (essential)

  • A solid grasp of lettings compliance and current legislation

  • A Level 3 qualification (or working towards it)

  • Confidence managing end-to-end lettings independently

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach

  • Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle (parking provided)

What’s On Offer

  • Competitive salary up to £35,000 (DOE + qualifications)

  • Monday–Friday hours only (no weekends!)

  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays

  • On-site parking

  • Supportive team culture within a respected independent brand

  • Real progression opportunities as the business grows

If you're ready to step into a role where you can lead, influence, and build a successful lettings function around your own style we’d love to hear from you.
